Adolph Hitler, 3, taken from parents

Is naming your child Adolph Hitler an offense that will cause authorities to take the child away? Of course not. But it’s enough to raise eyebrows and cause unwanted attention.

Just ask the New Jersey parents who had their children, Adolph Hitler Campbell, 3, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, 1, and 8-month-old Honszlynn Hinler Campbell, removed from the home by New Jersey’s Division of Youth and Family Services for reasons not yet made public. Holland Township police chief David Van Gilson said his office has not received any reports of abuse or negligence. Neighbors I saw interviewed on television say there was often arguing going on inside the home of Heath and Deborah Campbell.

This isn’t the first time little Adolph is in the news. Just last month the toddler attracted nationwide attention when a local ShopRite supermarket refused to make a birthday cake with his name on it, which outraged the parents. A Wal-Mart fulfilled the cake request, which explains why the Waltons are so filthy rich.

“They’re just names, you know,” Heath reportedly told the Easton Express-Times at the time. “Yeah, they (the Nazis) were bad people back then. But my kids are little. They’re not going to grow up like that.”

Of course not. Do you think Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ daughter Rumer, now 20, thinks she is a British novelist? Will parents who now name their child Barack Obama expect that child to become this country’s president just because he or she was named after the 44th President? It’s ludicrous. What would be of concern is what is being taught inside the Campbell home, where Nazi memorabilia is kept. Heath also has swastika tattoos – right underneath Pebbles Flinstone and Winnie the Pooh tattoos. The Campbells are supposedly not members of the Aryan Nation but if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck….
