Kelly E. Carter was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare cancer, in a minor salivary gland in February 2023. Hours before surgery to remove part of her palate and left jaw, along with a posterior molar, on April 18, 2023, she made this video to inform and educate friends. At the time, she was unsure whether radiation would be needed. Radiation treatment began two months later.
